head shaved following the match against Gunkel. It is unclear as to how Gunkel came to be recognized as Eastern Heavyweight Champion. The last reference we have
shows Eddie Graham defending the title against Hercules on December 6, 1963, in Atlanta. It was announced that Rip Hawk would be wrestling in Atlanta soon.
