to win the title / Notes: Jack Crawford managed Shikina and Dr. M. The Vachons had been the reigning Southern Tag Team Champions since they went over the Torres’
on December 18, 1967, in Augusta. The program for this card had Crawford announcing that Fuller was actually Ed Welch. He also provided a photo of El Mongol
holding the Georgia Heavyweight Title belt, with Mexico City in the background, while calling for his reinstatement to wrestle in Georgia. It was reported in the program
that Jones was facing opposition from the NWA Board in an effort to declare the title vacant, where Crawford supposedly had attorneys appealing the suspension. It was
announced that Gene Kiniski would be wrestling Mr. Wrestling on the card on January 12, 1968.

advantage of Mr. Wrestling’s finger injury, suffered on January 3, 1968, in Columbus, when Arnold Spurlin bit off a fingertip during a fan participation event. Mr. Wrestling
had promised he would unmask and reveal his identity if he won the match. Kiniski had been the reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion since he went over Lou

since they went over Enrique and Ramon Torres on January 9, 1967, in Macon. It was announced that Tarzan Tyler would be wrestling on the card on January 26, 1968.

hosted by Ed Capral. Jack Crawford managed Dr. M and Mongol. It was announced that the suspension of Mongol had been partially lifted, assuming Crawford could
produce both Mongol and Dr. M at the same time, as Jones was convinced they were the same person. Jones said that if Crawford could not put both men in the ring at
the same time, Crawford, too, would face suspension. He was not satisfied simply with both men being in separate matches, and insisted that both men participate in
the same match on February 2, 1968.
